Organizational Development

This department plays a vital role in regard to the organization and capacity building of the movement’s agents, through extended trainings, construction of offices, distribution of office equipment and transport means. It is responsible to organize statutory and planning meetings. Similarly, the department assumes the coordination of branches or local committees to ensure the realization of other programs. The administrative decentralization has led to the restructuring of the RRC. The local committees were created from village, the grassroots level up to the district.

At the district level committees, Rwanda Red Cross has initiated the performance contracts policy. At this level, action plans are made and implemented.
